Hello,

we want to ship the ima sdk from our own domain. Is it ok to download the ima3.js to your local domain and link to that one, or how is that meant to be handled?

Regards

Hi Jan,

The ima3.js always loads the most recent code from our server, so loading on will provide more benefits, such as the recent update. If you want to download the ima3.js, then you can call it from your own domain and that will work fine. Just make sure that you are using the most recent version of ima3.js.

Thanks,

Except for this IFFE here:

  (function() {
    if (!db(function(a) {
      return a.match(J().location.href)
    })) {
      var a = zc();
      if (null == Sa(a, function(a) {
        return db(function(c) {
          return c.match(a.src)
        })
      })) throw Error("IMA SDK is either not loaded from a google domain or is not a supported version.");
    }
  })();

It only works if you remove it.

Hi All,

Recently, we've seen this thread referenced by a few users, so I thought we should post a clear, canonical response, despite the age of this thread.

Modifying or removing any code contained in the IMA SDK is a violation of our terms and conditions of use. As such, we cannot provide support or service to any publisher working with a modified SDK without first bringing them back into line with our terms and conditions.

The IMA SDK is not currently intended to be self-hosted, and includes code specifically intended to prevent self-hosting. Removing, altering, or bypassing this code is a violation of our terms and conditions of use.

Thank you,

Greg Schoppe
