'AD_BREAK_FETCH_ERROR' Event in ExoPlayer IMA Extension

Hi There,

There is new event included in the latest commit in ExoPlayer's IMA extension.

Could you please share an example ad tag or xml response, where we can get this event; so that we can build our logic on that ?

Hi Gourav,

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing this information. I'm afraid we do not have an example ad tag or VAST response specifically for this type of ad event. However, you can play around with one of our VMAP sample ad tags and modify the XML response in a way that it will not return any ads to trigger the AD_BREAK_FETCH_ERROR ad event.

Have you tried to use the VMAP sample? In my testing using this ad tag, I was able to trigger the AD_BREAK_FETCH_ERROR ad event (attached screenshot: testimg_002) when certain parameters were modified, making sure that the ad break will not play back any ads (please see attached screenshot: testimg_001).
