Reference mail below such problems are there in all State Medical Councils
IMA should push for online registration in all state medical councils . With availability of Digital Locker and Aadhaar Cards it should not be a big issue. The harassment faced during the registration process is the main reason for many problems faced by Doctors in India.

Sir,

I would like to bring to your notice how non professionally Haryana Medical council works.

They do not have a website,

No information available about there office, If we search online address of secor 20 chandigarh is dispalyed whereas the office has shifted to panchkula civil surgeon office,

No body Picks up the Phone,

No Information about RTI officers of the council

Me and my wife had applied for HMC Registration in the month of novemeber after visting the council office personally and satisfying all their requirements. They never gave any reciept and till date I have recieved no communication from them regarding the status of registration .

At least the doctor has to go to State Medical Council in person with
original documents.No need to go again.

Dear All

Maharashtra Medical Council has taken following proactive steps regarding above issues

Majority of certificates like Renewal of Reg.,NOC, Good Standing Cert, Additional Qualification Cert,etc can be applied online and necessary payments can be made online thro dedicated payment gate directly

All the application forms can be downloaded directly from MMC Website which also details the documentation required

Even in Provisional and Permanent Reg Cert which require original documents to be verified the Govt Medical College Deans have been empowered to authenticate the documents and collectively send the same to MMC and the certificates are sent to RMPs by speed post

MMC has created web page for individual RMPs so that they can view the details of their registration, qualification,number of accredited CMEs attended etc

Individual RMPs can print their status of reg with MMC directly from their web page which is a legal document for application for any job or higher studies

These measures have to a great extent saved the time and expences of our members who will not require to personally visit MMC office

All these details can be shared by us with any SMC who officially write to us and we can share the format of facilitating such online structure.
