Dear All

Punjab Medical Council had given CME credit hours for our physical Annual conferences in the past but refused to give accreditation to our 2 Annual MLAG Conferences during the covid period. These same conferences were given accreditation by Maharashtra Medical Council & Delhi Medical Council. The reason given was that PMC recognizes CME / Conferences for credit hours only if they are hosted on Omnicuris platform which we found strange. We filed a complaint with Competition Commission of India on this issue. The first order is attached for everyones' perusal.

This is a problem when the regulations of 2002 were applicable . What will happen after the NMC RMP Professional Conduct Regulations 2022 are notified is anyone's quess.
