During the PMC elections I was asked by many regarding need for CME credit hours for elderly RMPs . Going through the website of Punjab Medical Council, and procedure for reregistration and CME credit hours, nowhere is this information displayed nor is the form filled for re registration any different for those  who  fall in the elderly category. Under RTI we  have  asked the PMC to provide us information on this issue. I have been provided unsigned, minutes of the meeting of the council dated 4-04-2018 (see  attachments). Since the minutes provided could be claimed by mischievous persons to be fraudulent, in appeal we are requesting the PMC to authenticate the minutes by attesting and signing the same. More importantly, we request  PMC to

1)  Make minutes of this meeting available on the website
2)  Ideally get amendments made in PMC Act to reflect this
3)  Make changes in user manual for re registration to reflect this fact that those more than 65 years do not need to submit CME credit hours
4)  Make changes in user manual for CME to make it user friendly and simplify the same also reflect the exception for those more than 65 years clause
