To support the efforts of the new communications and media team (see 2/28/ 2013 memo), credit research has an opening for a research associate to work with Janet Sung on telecom and cable companies. This person
will report to Shannon O’Mara. If you are interested, please discuss your qualifications with your supervisor/manager or Debbie Lewis in HR before forwarding a resume to Tricia Keefe by March 15, 2013. Employee referrals should be also directed to Tricia Keefe

Job responsibilities:
·
Conduct fundamental industry and issuer credit analysis (for bonds and bank loans) with direct supervision from senior analyst
·
Build and maintain financial models, including projections
·
Assist in preparing industry reviews and other research memos
·
Develop skills in assessing credit risk and relative valuation, as well as understanding financial markets
·
Prepare regular updates on bank loan investments
Skills/Qualifications:
·
2+ years experience in an investment management firm, bank training program, or related experience
·
Bachelor’s degree, with work toward graduate degree and/or CFA preferred
·
Solid accounting skills, with basic understanding of financial statements and model building
·
Strong interest in financial analysis and ability to source information and offer new
·
insights
·
Quick learner; able to work accurately at a rapid pace with competing priorities in a team environment
·
Solid writing skills and developing presentation skills
