Subject: RISE Updates: Scholarships, Deadlines, Cash Awards

Hi!

My name is Michael Hermes. I’m a member of the University of Dayton’s Davis Center for Portfolio Management. If you’re interested in stocks, bonds, trading, investing, or asset management, our RISE Forum on April 4-6 is for you.

Now in its 13th year, RISE will feature the CEOs, CIOs, and chief economists from many of the top firms in the investment industry, respected financial media personalities, and two Federal Reserve bank presidents! On Thursday, help lead the direction of their panel discussions by stepping up to the microphone to ask a question. On Friday and Saturday, attend breakout sessions to learn more about investment and career strategies.

I wanted to give you a heads-up with regard to several approaching deadlines, and share with you some exciting new developments:

  • Our early-bird discounts expire February 28, so please don’t miss your school’s chance to save $50 on each student or faculty registration.
  • If your school hasn’t yet taken advantage of them, student scholarships are still available! Call 937-229-4761 for details.
  • We’ve recently added Dave Asman, Barry Knapp, Steve Liesman, and Phil Orlando to our lineup of panelists! See the complete listing below.
  • $1,000 cash awards will be presented to the winning schools in our optional portfolio competition. Deadline for entry is February 28.
  • Follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on all things RISE and a chance to win your RISE hotel stay.

Replies to this e-mail will be directed to the RISE mailbox where staff members are standing by to answer any of your questions.

Hope to see you in April,

Michael Hermes
