We are looking for a person with strong skills on open source
technologies. He should be a one stop solution across all web
technologies. Passion to explore and even do research on latest
technologies. The following broad skiils would be needed.
Skills:
- Good to excellent understanding of core computer science concepts (at
least 6 of the following):
-- Engineering and computational mathematics
-- Networking and security
-- Operating systems and system programming
-- Computer graphics
-- Algorithm analysis and performance tuning
-- Functional programming
-- Databases and data mining
-- Artificial intelligence
-- Embedded systems
-- Digital signal processing
- Knowledge across a wide range of computing technologies
-- Multiple languages - Python, Scala, Java, .NET languages, Perl,
Erlang, Go etc (minimum of 3 of these)
-- Multiple enterprise frameworks
--- Enterprise Service Bus, Message passing systems such as Active MQ,
--- Concurrency frameworks
--- Fault-tolerant networks and systems
--- Cloud computing and scalable computing
Research Experience:
- Should have presented at least 3 papers in science and engineering forums
Interpersonal skills:
- Ability to communicate very well
Networking
- Excellent contacts in academia and research establishments
Others:
- Excellent ability to lead teams. Setting up group activities etc.
- Great deal of enthusiasm and energy
A Sol Architect with at least 8 to 10 years experience. Interested
