Debian Lenny Installation Fails!!

Hello,

I downloaded Net installer version of Lenny. The installation fails asking me to load driver for my cdrom from floppy. My Motherboard is Intel DG33 and processor is Core2Duo E6550. Debian Etch didn't support my system and i was waiting for leeny to release. Please help me...

Hi,

 

The net installer version is a miimal version which will boot up and get your files from the net. This will take a very long time if you are to get a functional operating system .

 

Instead , get the first CD from here : http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/i386/iso-cd/ 

or the first DVD from here http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/i386/iso-dvd/ and use it to install the system .
