Configure Ubuntu 14.04 with Huawei E303F

Dear Friends,

I bought a data card of Huawei E303F.

Plug and play does not work with Ubuntu 14.04.

Anybody have experience in configuration of E303F with Ubuntu 14.04?

I was able to configure using wvdial. Didn't remember exact procedure.
Need to make some changes with mode-probe. If i am right it has two
devices a modem and a memory. For me, the built in software was buggy.

I had a universal sim dongle from huawei. I configured it in kubuntu and got it working. I had to use 'sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=<vendorid> product=<productid>" to have it listed in the mobile broadband category. After that, I went on to set up a new mobile broadband connection using the gui and the "installed GSM device".
