Why cant we deploy freedom toaster on all fourteen districts by taking sponsorships?
The idea has been discussed earlier during freedom walk at Trichur lug meeting.
The idea was to get sponsorship from Kalyan silks, Josco, Allukas etc,
Two sides of the toaster will be used for the sponsors add, also a scrolling
add can also be provided in toaster. It will be viable if we can find more than one sponsor.
We can deploy the toasters in all major colleges so that the sponsors will to be interested
What say guys??

Good idea!
While choosing the sponsors, we must take care.
I think it is better to create a policy regarding the sponsorship.

As originally proposed, Kalyan silks, Josco, Allukas etc, should be just
fine as there wouldn't be any conflict of interest.
Sponsorships from local shops/firms/brands must be relatively safe.

Yes. First of all, What is the cost?

The system configuration, etc. need be known.

Then we can contact sponsors.

Planning is needed.!!!

The system can be a celeron or sempron based one with a 320GB HDD + DVD-RW

The first toaster is made of wood, now as we are planning to deploy larger quantity and we have the prototype designs ready we can go for Steel chassis for the toaster.

The cost will be around INR 45,000 - INR 50,000 i think, anoop can conform

Then we have to find sponsors.

Since it costs too much, jeweleries, textiles, etc could only afford it.

Also how about giving advertisement for a monthly basis?

Also If taken proper initiatives Universities can also afford it and place it along its main center where the students comes to university related matters such as fees, marklist etc.

I think the group contains people from all districts of kerala. Can each one you recommend at least 5 famous colleges from each district so that we can talk to the concerned authorities/universities about it.
