[GNU/Linux-discussion] Brief Report on DFW'2012

Document Freedom Workshop'2012 was co-organised by the Kolkata chapter
of Indian GNU/Linux Users Group (<a
href="www.iglug-cal.org">GLUG-Kolkata </a>), Indian Statistical
Institute, Kolkata and Fedora India with support from the Institute of
Open Technology and Applications, Kolkata. The workshop was well
attended, despite the number of other parallel workshops that were in
progress during the time.

In all six well planned sessions and a special lecture were conducted
by A. Mani, Shakti Kannan, Sourav Sen Gupta, Jit Ray Chowdhury, G.
Nagarjuna, Arijit Majumder and Krishnakant Mane in that order. Thanks
are due to the enthusiasm of the participants and the excellent work
of the organising committee consisting of A. Mani, Mandar Mitra,
Partha Kundu, Tanmay Basu, Malay Bhattacharyya and Jit Ray Chowdhury
for making the workshop a success.
