Add a link to this mailing list (groups.google.com/group/ilug-alpy).

Make it clear that Matrix or Telegram since joining either is enough.

Join "Matrix chatroom" (button) or Telegram (button) and below add a
message,

"Matrix and Telegram are bridged, so joining either group will allow you
to talk to users in both groups."

Also it would be a good idea to add the website to google group
description and footer. Since Kiran designed the website and currently
most active, I recommend he be made an admin of the google group too.
