The International Labour Research and Information Group (ILRIG) is an NGO based in Cape Town and in Johannesburg. ILRIG provides popular educational resources for trade unions and social movements in South Africa based on research on political economy, social movements and international politics. ILRIG seeks to generate alternative perspectives to that of neo-liberal capitalism.

 

Applications are invited from individuals anywhere in South Africa who have research and writing skills and knowledge of developments within the labour movement and the social movements in South Africa, and elsewhere. Applicants should have a history of commitment to social justice, be capable of undertaking quality research and contribute to critical thought, and be able to work in a collaborative environment.
