自2002年以来，在UNESCO（联合国教科文组织，总部在巴黎）的倡导下，每年11月第三个星期四是世界哲学日。今年的世界哲学日是2010年11月18日。在这一天，世界许多地方都举行了哲学相关的主题活动，在巴黎也有特别的哲学活动。
