You can write research papers on any of the sub-theme for the seminar. Selected research papers will publish in peer-reviewed Journal, with ISSN number.

1. Digital Transformation and Emerging Technologies:
   a. Exploring the impact of digital technologies on libraries and information services:
      - Developing and implementing digital strategies in libraries
      - Leveraging digital tools and platforms for enhanced user experiences
      - Challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in libraries
      - Case studies and best practices in adopting digital technologies
   b. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning applications in libraries:
      - AI-powered reference and research assistance
      - Machine learning for collection development and resource recommendations
      - Natural language processing for information retrieval and search optimization
      - Ethical considerations and challenges in deploying AI in library settings
2. Open Access and Scholarly Communication:
a. Promoting open access to research and scholarly publications:
   - Advocating for open access publishing models (e.g., gold, green, diamond)
   - Negotiating and implementing transformative agreements with publishers
   - Raising awareness and providing education on open access among researchers
   - Exploring sustainable funding models for open access initiatives
   - Assessing the impact and reach of open access publications

b. Institutional repositories and open educational resources:
   - Developing and managing institutional repositories for scholarly output

   - Integrating OERs into course curricula and teaching practices

c. Transforming scholarly communication models:
   - Exploring alternative models to traditional publishing (e.g., preprints, overlay journals)
   - Peer review innovations and open peer review processes
   - Challenges and opportunities in transitioning to open access publishing
   - Roles of libraries and librarians in the scholarly communication ecosystem
   - Collaborations between libraries, publishers, and other stakeholders
   - Metrics and assessment of scholarly impact beyond traditional citations
d. Research data management and data curation:
   - Developing and implementing research data management (RDM) strategies and services
   - Data curation practices and workflows for ensuring data quality and integrity

   - Ethical and legal considerations in data management (e.g., privacy, intellectual property)

These concept notes cover a wide range of topics related to open access, its current state, emerging trends, and its potential to shape the future of Library and Information Science. Participants can expect to engage in discussions, presentations, and collaborative sessions that explore these themes in depth.

Font: Times New Roman 12 pt.
A4 (Portrait) MS word
 
Referencing Style: APA (American Psychological Association)
Guideline for the Author: 

• Do not add endnote footnotes header footer page number. 
• All graphs, figures, tables should be placed in the text where they are discussed in the paper. 
• The paper should be an original and unpublished contribution all the submitted conceptual Research papers will be reviewed on a peer review basis to ensure relevance, quality and originality. 
• Author name Designation, official/ residential address along with mail ID should appear below the main title of the paper followed by abstract and then text respectively.  
• The author should observe UGC norms of Plagiarism while preparing the paper. 
• Send one soft Ms-word copy of the research paper on Email only. oahe...@gmail.com
