Dear All Library Professionals

Greetings of the day!

We are glad to inform you that, on account of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Birth Anniversary, our Library Department has organized an Intercollegiate Book Talk Competition on 15th October 2025 at Dr D Y Patil Institute of Management Studies, Akurdi, Pune.

Dr Kalam always emphasizes on Reading Habits so our institute library purely attempts to cultivate reading habits among the young students.

Competition is just for the name sake, but our effort is to provide a podium for the students to express themselves in a creative way and learn presentation & conversation skills through this initiative. It would encourage every participant to enhance lifetime reading habits by creating a reader friendly environment that will uphold the track spirit of an avid reader.

We are happy to invite you and your students to participate in the competition and make the event grand success.

As a LIS Professional my kind request to all working LIS fellow please advertise the event on your college whatsapp group. Flyer, Guideline and Rules & Regulation of the Competition is attached herewith for your reference.
