Rules and Regulations for posting information to
Indian Librarians Online Study Circle

1. All posts (postings) will be moderated. Postings related to Library and Information Sciences and useful to library professionals only, will be posted.
2. For Postings regarding, Surveys and Questionnaires to the Study Circle, please create an online survey on survey service providing sites (for eg www.surveymonkey.com, google documents) and then provide the link in your mail to ILOSC googlegroups.  Please do not send your questionnaire as an attachment to the Study Circle…
3. Try to keep your postings brief and to the point.  Please write your name and other details at the bottom of your message.
4. Avoid Duplications… Please check the ILOSC Google group before posting your message, as to whether anyone has already posted the same message.
5. Any type of spamming, advertising, fund raising, promotions will lead towards termination of an individual's membership from the group… Regular members will bewarned before terminating their membership from the Study Circle… (If we report some posting as spam to google group, it will automatically delete the posting and remove the user from the group and include him/her in the ban members list).  So please be careful before posting spam mails to the Study Circle…
6.  Indecent language and mails are strictly prohibited on the Study Circle… Also, please do not pass personal remarks or comments on the Study Circle Postings…
7. Posting the same message to many topics will be considered as spam. Duplicate messages will be deleted or edited or consolidated by our moderators.
8. Please send your “Thanks giving” messages or any acknowledgments directly to the email id of the person who may have  helped you… Never send such messages as reply to that posting or to ilosc@googlegroups.com...  They will not be posted as they utilize unnecessary space.
9. ILOSC or any of the moderators will not be responsible for any posting which may violate the copyrights act… Please notify if such postings are found on ILOSC site… They will be deleted…
10. All the rights of Selection/Rejection/Deletion of Postings to the Study Circle or Acceptance/Rejection/Termination/Banning/Revoking of membership remain with the moderators of the Study Circle.
11. The rights to amend any of the rules remain with the moderators of the study circle.
