Greetings from DELNET, New Delhi !We take pleasure in informing you that DELNET, New Delhi is organising the 29th National Convention on Knowledge, Library and Information Networking - NACLIN 2026 from November 26-27, 2026 at Hotel The Park Hyderabad, 22 Raj Bhavan Road, Somajiguda, Hyderabad. The theme of NACLIN 2026 is “AI-Powered Libraries: Reimagining Access, Services, Learning and Research”. The convention is going to deliberate upon the main issues of the theme including AI for Intelligent Information Access and Knowledge Discovery; AI-Driven Library Services and User Experience; AI-Enhanced Learning, Digital Literacy and User Education; AI for Research Support and Scholarly Communication and Ethical, Legal and Responsible AI, etc. The conference aims to bring together library and information science professionals, academicians, researchers, educators, technology experts and policymakers to explore the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in reshaping the future of libraries and knowledge services. The Artificial Intelligence is rapidly redefining the way libraries acquire, organise, discover, preserve and disseminate information. From intelligent search and personalised user services to research support, digital scholarship and data-driven decision-making, AI presents unprecedented opportunities for libraries to enhance their relevance and impact. At the same time, it calls for thoughtful discussions on ethical use, responsible adoption, digital inclusion and the evolving competencies required of library professionals. The NACLIN 2026 conference will provide an excellent platform for learning from eminent experts and thought leaders in AI and library and information science, sharing innovative practices, research findings and successful implementation experiences, discussing emerging technologies, challenges, opportunities and policy perspectives, Networking with professionals from academic, research, public, special and institutional libraries across the country and exploring collaborative initiatives that will shape the next generation of library services will be yet another opportunity. The participation of Library professionals will significantly enrich the deliberations and contribute to meaningful discussions on building future-ready libraries in the era of AI. An exhibition will also be organised wherein the leading publishers, library technology companies will be showcasing their products.
The participation fee (including 18% GST) for a professional from a member-institution of DELNET is Rs. 3,500 and for a non-member institution is Rs 5,000 per participant. As a special incentive, the participation fee for professionals working in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is Rs 2,500 (including GST). We would like to request you to kindly depute the Librarian and other professionals from your Institution/College.
