Not resetting .nib layout

Hi All,

I was working with iLocalize 4.2 (777) on a project. I updated the app I was working on with a new (English) version and checked the box in iLocalize allowing the app to reset the layout of the .nib that had been updated.
I noticed that with this version of iLocalize, the layout had *not* been reset. I can do it manually by Ctrl-clicking the .nib in iLocalize and chosing to reset the resource based on the English one there, but shouldn't it have been reset when I updated the app?

Hi Corentin,

Yes, it should have reset the layout. I'm unable to reproduce this but I'll investigate if it's possible that a bug lies in the code. Let me know if it reproduces.

I experienced that with MailTags for sure, and possibly other apps, but I haven't had the opportunity to confirm it for the other apps.
I'll have to wait for new drops to localize to test it again.

Hi Jean,

I posted this to you before too. Looking at the Console.app it would appear that progress keeps going, but it is excruciatingly slow so it appears stalled. For that reason I normally rebuild one nib at a time.

I'm reproducing the same issue on 4.3.1 (4634) - English nib is updated, but when rebuilding any other language from English, it doesn't take effect.

Then when I rebuild the nib in English, EN parameters are applied to all languages automatically (more precisely, this case is related to text wrapping).
