Hi there -

I am Jaylin D. McClinton of Chicago, Illinois, and I have the pleasure of serving as President of Just The Beginning - A Pipeline Organization (JTB-APO)'s Associate Board. One of our founders is none other than the Honorable Ann Claire Williams, who is a personal shero, and one of the main reasons I have stayed engaged to-date.

Do you believe diversity in the legal field is important?


Do you want to increase diversity in the legal profession by helping middle school, high school, college students, and law students from underrepresented backgrounds?

Are you interested in joining a national associate board?

If you answered “yes” to all three questions, great news! The Just the Beginning–A Pipeline Organization (JTB-APO) Associate Board is accepting applications for new members to join from now until Thursday, November 20th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT with a term commencing in January of 2026. 

We are especially looking to increase young professional membership in the following areas: California (LA + San Diego); DMV (D.C. + Richmond); Tennessee (Nashville); and Texas (Houston)!

We are particularly interested in those with backgrounds in civics, education, event planning, fundraising, legal, and programming.
