Hi all,

Sharing descriptions for two more open positions on Congressman Mike Quigley's Mayoral campaign: Finance Director/Fundraiser and Call Time Manager.

Finance Director for Mike Quigley for Mayor


The Finance Director will be a key member of the campaign’s senior staff, responsible for executing a high-performing fundraising program that supports the campaign’s path to victory. This role will work closely with the candidate and senior staff to build strong donor relationships, drive revenue, and ensure the campaign meets its fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a comprehensive $3 million fundraising program, including call time, donor research, event planning and staffing, digital fundraising, and donor relationship management.

  • Prepare and staff candidate call time, including building call lists, conducting donor research, and ensuring consistent follow-up.

  • Manage donor communication and relationship tracking, ensuring all outreach is timely, organized, and strategic.

  • Plan and execute fundraising events, including invitations, logistics, and on-site staffing.

  • Set ambitious fundraising goals, hold the candidate accountable to progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the campaign’s database.

  • Support pledge follow-up and re-solicitation efforts to maximize donor engagement and revenue.

  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, stakeholders, and partners across the state and nationally.

  • Track and manage cash flow throughout the campaign, working with the compliance team to ensure all contributions and expenditures are reported accurately and efficiently.

  • Contribute to the development of systems and processes that improve the campaign’s overall fundraising effectiveness.


Experience, Skills, and Characteristics

  • At least 2 cycles of campaign fundraising experience, raising a minimum of $1 million.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Detail-oriented and highly reliable with data tracking and follow-through.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build and maintain relationships with donors and campaign stakeholders.

  • Goal-oriented, persistent, and motivated to meet and exceed fundraising targets.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing campaign environment.

  • Experience with NGPVan, PingDex, ActBlue, Google Sheets, or other fundraising and data management tools required.

  • Willingness to work long hours and travel as needed to meet campaign goals.


Salary: Commiserate with experience, additional stipend for health insurance is provided for candidates joining the team as full-time staff, not consultants

Call Time Manager for Mike Quigley for Mayor


The Call Time Manager will play a critical role in the success of the campaign’s fundraising operation, working directly with senior leadership to execute a disciplined, high-performing fundraising operation. This role will be responsible for ensuring the candidate is fully prepared, supported, and accountable in raising the resources necessary to win.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute a comprehensive call time program in partnership with senior staff.

  • Prepare the candidate for daily call time by building targeted, strategic call lists with relevant donor research and giving history.

  • Staff call time sessions, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely follow-through.

  • Track all call time activity and maintain clean, detailed records in the campaign’s databases.

  • Conduct timely and thorough follow-up on all donor outreach.

  • Monitor progress toward fundraising goals and provide regular reports to senior staff.

  • Support relationship management by ensuring the candidate and senior staff have the tools and information needed to effectively engage donors and stakeholders.

  • Assist with fundraising events, including list building, logistics, and on-site staffing.

  • Coordinate closely with the finance team to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor data systems.


Experience, Skills, and Characteristics

  • Campaign experience in a finance, fundraising or call time role.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Field Director - Quigley for Chicago

The Field Director will be vital to the success of the Quigley for Chicago campaign, managing all direct field operations across Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods. The Field Director will be responsible for creating and executing a winning voter outreach plan as well as day-to-day management of field staff, volunteers, and fellows.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a city-wide field plan from ballot access to Election Day.
  • Directly manage field staff, campaign fellows, and volunteers by providing strong leadership, resources, guidance, and technical support.
  • Organize volunteer training, outreach events, and house parties.
  • Schedule phone banks and canvasses in a strategic and timely manner.
  • Work closely with other senior staff members to maintain consistency of message and ethos across campaign outreach mediums.
  • Set and ensure the campaign meets weekly door knocking and phone bank requirements and ensure that field staff and fellows are trained to properly perform their roles.
  • Develop yard/window sign and other visibility campaigns
  • Maintain accurate, reliable and meticulous field data.
  • Provide other senior staff members with detailed, weekly quantitative and qualitative reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the program’s success.

  • Three to four cycles of campaign experience required, at least one of which serving as Field Director in a district with turnout over 150,000 voters.

Digital Director - Quigley for Chicago

The Digital Director will lead all social media and digital content for the Quigley for Chicago campaign, shaping how voters experience and connect with the candidate and campaign online.

This is an integral role the campaign is intentionally investing in as a central, strategic function. The ideal Digital Director is someone excited to get to know, and then share with the city, the authentic Mike Quigley—his voice, instincts, and personality—and translate that into creative, engaging content that is fun, joyful, and compelling, while clearly communicating his vision and showcasing his outsized qualifications to lead Chicago.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy across all social media platforms that follows a strict and strategic cadence and frequency
  • Lead the creation of and post engaging, creative, and high-quality social media content (photo, video, written, live video)
  • Balance creative storytelling with clear communication of policy positions and Mike’s extensive experiences/history of results-driven public service
  • Build and manage day-to-day social media interactions with engaged viewers across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, BlueSky, Substack and YouTube
  • Staff the candidate to capture real-time content and moments
  • Collaborate closely with senior staff to ensure message alignment across all campaign communications
  • Monitor trends, analytics, and platform performance to continuously optimize strategy
  • Support rapid response and real-time digital messaging around campaign events and news
  • Maintain a consistent, compelling, and distinctive campaign brand online
  • Manage the campaign fellows program alongside the Field Director to empower fellows to participate in the brainstorming, creation and editing or social media content
  • Amplify content generated by Mike’s official duties as a member of Congress
Experience, Skills, and Characteristics
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy, content creation, and digital storytelling
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to quickly draft compelling copy for a variety of mediums
  • Experience with video production and editing (CapCut, Adobe, Canva, or similar tools)
  • Strong creative instincts and a sharp eye for tone, pacing, and storytelling
  • Ability to deeply understand and reflect a candidate’s authentic voice and personality
  • Excitement about building a bold, unique and creative campaign

  • Substantial body of work publicly available for reference
  • Preferably possesses experience on large political campaigns in media, communications or digital content creation/management

Campaign Fellows Program - Quigley for Chicago

Join Congressman Mike Quigley’s campaign for Mayor of Chicago as a Campaign Fellow and gain hands-on experience at the center of one of the most dynamic political environments in the country.

This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to learn from top campaign professionals while working closely with a prominent, well-known candidate. Fellows will play a meaningful role in campaign operations while building real-world skills in organizing, communications, and political strategy.

  • Petition Signature Collection
  • Gather signatures to secure ballot access in accordance to set weekly goals
  • Digital & Creative Organizing
  • Create, shoot, and edit social media content and support digital organizing efforts

  • Staff the candidate at events and community engagements and represent the campaign in a professional, energetic manner

Commitment Details

Duration:
 July – October (8-week required commitment, with potential extension)
Hours: 20 hours/week (in-person, between 9 AM – 8 PM; flexible days)
Compensation: $3,200 stipend per 8-week session
Location: Must be able to travel regularly to the North Side and to any of Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods with reasonable notice
