UIUC Climbing Club RMNP Reunion: Mountain Meetup!

We've finally got a campsite and nailed down a few details!  Please invite invite invite everyone who is on-and-off Facebook! Shoot a text/email/chat/smokesignal to your old climbing buddy - let's spread the word to everyone we know! I'm not friends with everyone, so spread the w!

Time to Reunite!

WHAT:

In a wild nexus of current and former Cornlandia climbers, we're throwing together a UIUC Climbing Club Reunion for all our members past. Come and link up with old and new climbing partners to top-out alpine towers, crush puny boulders, and clip some mega-classics in Rocky Mountain National Park! Stay for the stories, campfires, and camaraderie that will be sure to follow each night.

WHY:
The UIUC Climbing Club has a long and storied history. Members have come and gone, but the core thirst for mountain adventures still lives on in the club! The last reunion was a smashing success, and I'm hopeful that this one will be too. Come hear what stories can be told by folks who came through in all different club eras!

WHO:
All are welcome to the Reunion! The Park and surrounding areas offer excellent climbing of all kinds (alpine multipitch, easy-hard sport, and all sorts of bouldering) as well as superb non-climbing activities gorgeous hiking, camping, wildlife spotting and more. No matter what kind of climbing, what grade of climbing, or even if you climb at all, you'll be hard-pressed not to enjoy the splendor of RMNP.

WHERE:
Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. Specifically, we've booked a big group campsite at Glacier Basin for the week (Aug 16-23)!

WHEN:
Centering on the week of August 16-23. Come through when you can!
