intent to run for treasurer

Hey climbers,

Climbing club elections are quickly approaching and it’s making me pretty pumped because I am interested in becoming your new treasurer!

My name is Madeline Acri and you can often find me frequenting the wall at the ARC. I am currently a junior and I have loved being involved with the climbing club thus far. I look forward to climbing not just because it’s fun but because I get to see all of your beautiful faces. Because I love climbing and climbing club so much, I want to be your treasurer. In this position, I would be responsible for collecting club dues, distributing and collecting waivers, and managing the funds of the club. The money we raise can help go to various climbing organizations, such as the Access Fund, American Alpine Club, etc. I am really excited about fundraising! I want to come up with cool and unique fundraising events, in addition to the existing Swear Jar.
