Subject: {Illegal Garbage Dump}
Illegal garbage dumping has STOPPED!
Dear Everyone,
| dear prabhat,THIS INDEED IS THE NEWS of the year.congrats to you fr having led the crusade many months back AND,more importantly, sustained the effort right through.this case is indeed a grt example of how the community can get together solidly(incl coming on to the streets)and push thru the deplorably lethargic system that we are engulfed in.do sincerely hope we can repeat this effort elsewhere and address many more civic issues.our support from the CITY RWA shall continue in any/every form, rgds, sudhir kapoor --- On Thu, 5/11/09, Prabhat Agarwal <prabhat...@gmail.com> wrote: |

We must bow to the the unsung heroes behind this sucessful movement
1. The ladies of G Block who forgot everything to spearhead this movement
2. Sunil Jhaveri
3. Rajat Dogra
4. Parag Shah
5. Raj Sethi
6. Vishal Nayyar
7. Rohit Sarin
8. All our neighbours from nearby blocks and condo blocks
9. Above all YUVRAJ SINGH without whom the momentum would not be provided to the movement
Cheers to all of them

Without trying to make this look like a mutual admiration and backslapping society, one cannot add the greatest contributors to this cause.
They are the actual UNSUNG HEROES
ALL THE SENIOR CITIZENS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE MOVEMENT
ESPECIALLY
Mrs & Mr Harish Capoor
& Mrs & Mr Kapadia

Dear Friends,
It is a fine achievement ( the Garbage Dump Removal) for which all participants can be happy about.
We are fortunate in having Mr. Rajesh Khullar as the Commissioner, MCG. He has also taken steps for taking care of the stray cows in Gugaon and this facility should start functioning by 1st January,2010. Hopefully, there will be no stray cow on the roads anywhere in Gurgaon in the new year. It will be a rare achievement for any town in India.
The problem of monkeys remains. It is no longer safe for people to even go for a walk. I am afraid I am not a great supporter of the 'langoor' solution even short term, to try and scare them away from some lanes in G Block. Do we want to merely pass on the problem to our neighbouring lanes/blocks ?
I believe Mr. Sudhir Kapoor of City RWA has recd. a meaningful proposal from an NGO which should be pursued on top priority.
With best wishes.
