Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s Office and the Antelope Valley Illegal Dumping Task Force will host an update for the community by the California Department of Resources, Recycling and Recovery and county departments on efforts to halt illegal dumping operations.

Representatives of Los Angeles County departments — including Regional Planning, Public Health, Public Works, Fire Department and Sheriff’s Department — will be present to answer questions.

The event will be 6 p.m. Tuesday on Zoom and in person at the Quartz Hill Library, 5040 West Ave. M-2.
