Good morning parents,

A lot of parents have reached out to me inquiring about the transportation arrangements for Friday, March 12th. I hope this email clarifies questions and concerns that you might have.

Drop-Off on Friday, March 12th @ 11:45am
We ask that students are dropped off @ the United Airlines terminal (Mainland Departures) at the airport at 11:45am. The chaperones will be arriving at the airport shortly before this time but will be ready to receive students at 11:45am through 12:00pm the latest!!!! For the sake of being on-time, the group will begin making their way through security at 12:00pm so make sure you arrive ON-TIME or you'll miss the boat!! Our flight departs at 1:50pm so the advisers need as much time as possible to get 34 people's bags checked, through security, and to the gate.
*******Do not drop your child off at Ilima Intermediate!
!!!*******

In regards to transportation to the airport, all of the advisers will not be available to provide rides to students because we will be getting rides to the airport ourselves, so we won't have a personal vehicle to transport other students.

Therefore, we encourage you all to use this email group as a way of coordinating rides for your child with other parents if you are unable to take your child to the airport. If you are not able to coordinate a ride with a parent, please contact me and I will work with you to make arrangements.

List of Parents Who Need Transportation Assistance:
1) Medelyn Harkins is looking for assistance in getting her son Ellis to the airport on Friday. She is traveling this Saturday, March 6th on business and would like to secure a ride before she leaves. If you are able to offer Ellis a ride to the airport, please contact Medelyn at mhar...@yahoo.com or by cell 808.372.3345

Pick-Up on Thursday, March 18th @ 10:00pm
We will return to Honolulu from New York City at 9:37pm but with taxi-ing and baggage pick-up, students will not be ready for pick-up until at least after 10pm. Please plan on picking up your child around this time. If you are unable to pick up your child, please make arrangements with other parents for transportation. Again, the chaperones will not be able to provide rides because we will not have cars. The advisers will wait until all students have been picked up before we leave.

Any questions regarding transportation, forward them to me at zachd...@gmail.com or call me directly on my cell 973.296.8433.

Emergency Contact List
Attached is the emergency contact list, including all student contact information as well as advisor/parent chaperone numbers. Please use this list to connect with other parents to arrange transportation to and from the airport.

Only 10 days left!!! Get excited!!
