UPDATE

I. Don’t Forget! Mandatory Parent and Student Meeting – Saturday, Jan. 16^th
9:00-10:30am, Ilima School Library
a. ALL students must attend, accompanied by at least ONE parent/guardian
b. We will be going over important info for the DC trip. PLEASE BE ON TIME!
c. Please bring a pen & paper to take notes!
*Failure to attend this meeting may result in student being held back from the trip. If you have an emergency, call Ms. Inouye at 391-4141.

II. Tutoring for Civic Club Students
a. Civic Club students who had D’s and/or F’s on their 2^nd quarter report card must report to Ms. Inouye’s room for MANDATORY tutoring starting TUESDAY, JAN. 19^th from 2:15-3:00pm. Students must attend tutoring at least 2 days a week.

III. Upcoming Service Projects
a. The Ci vic Club officers are working on planning a service project for the club for a weekend some time in February.

IV. Payments to Smithsonian
a. Payment for the Schoolwide Fundraiser (club portion) and Winter Fair were dependent on student participation in 2^nd quarter activities: Schoolwide Fundraiser, Winter Fair, Schoolwide Recycling, Meeting Attendance, Letter to the President, and 2^nd Quarter Grade Check. Check your account online to see your balance—hopefully the payments should be posted within the next week.
b. The deadline on the most recent donation letter was January 15^th. Donations from November through January 15^th will be paid to Smithsonian by January 31st.
c. Payment for 7-11 Coupon books in December will go out next week.
