Welcome to the mailing list for the Illinois GLBT College Conference.  This list is an announce-only list for this and all future conferences. 

 

This list was created to ensure that a single mailing list for the conference exists.  Due to privacy concerns, we did not wish to simply pass a list of emails from one conference to the next.  Instead, the organizers of each conference will be given temporary posting privileges to this list.  Conference organizers will not be able to see the complete membership list.  Only the list owner (Philip Reames, rea...@uiuc.edu) will have access to the membership list.  The ownership of the list may be transferred to another individual or organization at some future time, but any change of ownership or policy will be announced at least two (2) weeks in advance.

 

Given that many of you were added directly to the list, here's a short list of ways to remove yourselves from the list if you so desire:

1) Go to http://groups.google.com/group/ilglbtcc-announce/, Sign In (upper right corner) and click on "Unsubscribe or change membership".  Then click "unsubscribe".  You need a Google Account to use this option.  You can easily create a Google Account if you so desire. 

2) Scroll to the bottom of the add message and click the unsubscribe link.  (This is the easiest and fastest method!)

3) Email the list owner (rea...@uiuc.edu) and ask him to remove you.
