Thanks for the comment about The Trainer Deck. I hope you find it helpful; as I have.
And, please realize, I seriously contemplated the sourcing and inclusion of a box/case. Ultimately, the decision came down to these considerations:
For example, my friend played the card above and then played No Probllama as her second card. Currently, we do not allow anyone to play an instant card on no probllama because we chose not to use one on magical llamacorn. Which way does everyone else play?
Call customer service and ask them about it they might have to transfer you to online services. I always assumed though if you were approved online you should have been able to create your new online account right then without the card but it's been so long for me I honestly can't remember.
To create a new account now, you are required to have both the card number and the CID (for personal cards). Business cards (without CID) only require the card number and billing ZIP. At least this is what this particular CSR stated.
As I menitoned in my previous reply (before I saw your post come in), Amex is working on the issue still.
If its really an "issue" they have been working on it since last August when I re-opened an Amex account. You have to have the actual card in hand to open an online account because the CID on the temporary card is different from the one on the physical card.
I was just approved for an Amex EveryDay card, and chose to receive my card information right away. I try to use it to start an online account, but it says my account is locked, and to call the number on the back of my card.
It is important to note that having an IDC is not the same as owning a Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL) card. An IDC only provides access to CCPL's collection of OverDrive eBook and audiobook content. It does not allow you to borrow any physical materials from CCPL (i.e., books, DVDs, etc.), borrow materials from SearchOhio or OhioLINK, or access CCPL's other digital offerings, such as research databases or hoopla streaming music.
When you transfer money from your Apple Cash1 card, you can either use a bank transfer to send funds to your bank account in 1 to 3 days or you can use Instant Transfer2 to send funds instantly3 to an eligible Mastercard or Visa debit card.

Starting December 8th, 2022, this feature will also be available for all accounts located in the countries currently supported by Veem excluding Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea (South), Netherlands, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago. The card used to receive payments needs to be an active debit card.
If customers are aware of instant card issuance, meet their demands and expectations right on the front line. 70% of US consumers have used their debit card in the last 30 days, with younger consumers especially keen to use debit over credit.
Having an instant card issuance solution also means achieving payment stickiness with your accountholder. Instant issued cards have seen activation and usage rates as high as 89 percent. Customers are using their cards within hours rather than days; studies show that these cards are being used on average within the first 93 minutes of activation compared to the first 10 days as with standard issue, which means instant issuance services could lead to increased account holder activity.
A large benefit instant issuance offers is an increase in non-interest income. This solution has been shown to increase revenue by producing five additional debit transactions per month, as well as a five percent increase in overall transaction volume. Instant card issuance also saves financial institutions money because it is less costly than central issuance and leads to increased use of mobile deposit, which equals cost savings for branches.
This trend is relatively new and while some restaurants suggest instant payments have improved employee retention, and attract more new hires with updated benefit packages, the true impact of earlier access to wages is still up for debate among the restaurant management industry.
A fee is charged for each funds request. DailyPay fees range from $1.25 for next-day availability up to $2.99 for instant access. The fee may be paid by the employer, the employee or a combination of the two. After the requested funds have been released, DailyPay is repaid via the regular payroll process.
Another is deciding who pays the fees on instant payments. Should it be required of employers to pay or left up to employees? There is no standard practice and the IRS has not offered any guidance on the issue yet.
Some of the restaurants that have adopted instant payments did so because employees wanted options that helped them save money more easily and be able to access money quicker when something important comes along. A broken-down car, child-care payment, or school payment can make it difficult for employees to get to work. Instant payments can relieve some of those issues by letting employees get cash quicker to fix the car, pay the daycare, or not have to take out a school loan.
