No. Right now Google does not make an official desktop platform for Google Keep. That means many people have to use their device exclusively for accessing Keep. You can also use their web version on a desktop to access the same functionality and have a seamless experience across devices. Feedback has been that it would be great to have easier access to Keep on a desktop, along with other Google platforms. Below we are going to describe some of the ways that you can work within Google Keep on your desktop. Some are more complicated than others, but the good news is there is a powerful option in Shift.

The icon used for the Keep desktop shortcut is a standard web browser icon instead of the Keep icon, but double clicking the shortcut opens Keep in a separate window without all the typical browser clutter.

Using Shift as a desktop add for Google Keep not only makes it easier to access your Keep information, but it also makes it easier to manage multiple Google accounts across the suite. By adding Google Keep to Shift, you can access the web version with only a few clicks, rather than going through several steps of adding a shortcut that might get kind of tricky with lots of room for user error. With Shift, you can add multiple Google accounts and then toggle between them without having to log in and out or set up forwarding between different accounts.

I can't seem to find an answer to this issue specifically. I have a folder within a folder that contains many files I do not want added to my dropbox. Attempting to use selective-sync, I went into my Dropbox preferences on my Macbook and deselected the folder from syncing, however, when I clicked update, it get deleted the folder from my desktop and is only available on dropbox.com. I would like to keep the files on my desktop, but not have them added to my dropbox.

I tried using this article ( -files) to use terminal to specifically exclude this folder from syncing, however, I cannot seem to get the code correct and keep receiving error messages in terminal. I am not quite sure where here:

I have also gone on dropbox.com to attempt to see if I can find away to exclude this folder, but I cannot. Is there any way I can keep this folder where it is, exclude it from Dropbox, and have it remain on my computer?

The "desktop" preference on my Finder sidebar keeps unchecking itself. It happens from one session to another. And sometimes, it will happen during a session. I've searched Support, but no luck. This started after I upgraded to Sierra.

If I create a desktop shortcut to, say, "C:\Users\Paul\Dropbox\Work stuff\", then it stays like that, and it works the way I want: I click on it, and it QUICKLY opens the local folder (which is actually one of my dropbox sub folders)

Don't call the shortcut Dropbox. Call it My Dropbox or something else and it will be left alone. Dropbox will always update the desktop shortcut called Dropbox. It gets changed to what it originally was, which is meant to launch the Dropbox application if it's not already running, and then open the Dropbox folder.

Mac OS X used to be a great tool for visually finding icons I group on the Desktop. Sometime over the last couple "upgrades" this feature has apparently been abandoned. Is there a way to at least emulate the very handy function of NOT getting my icons "automatically" rearranged on the desktop? So far any settings I have made do not persist across reboots. I am currently on macOS Sierra Version 10.12.6. Does High Sierra resolve this? Or does High Sierra just make it worse?

I have read all the posts trying to solve this on Ubuntu 20.00. None of them apply. Right-clicking on the desktop shows a completely different menu with the desired option not there or in settings either. Nothing matched.

Guess what... It worked! My desktop icons remain where I put them! Even when they vanish after editing a document (that is another issue) when I restart or start anew, they are back where I want them.

I'm trying to overcome the lack of ability in SS 7.1 to set the mobile breakpoint. I can't seem to find a way to keep the desktop header, with Site Title on left and Navigation on right. I only want the hamburger on mobile devices, not on iPad in portrait. Header background is transparent...

On Desktop, I can't access Google Keep on any of my Google accounts: If I try, it keeps spamming the message "Can't connect right now, try again later", and won't let me select or edit any of my notes. On Mobile, it is allowing me to edit, but spams the "can't grammar check, document too long" message". What's going on? Does anyone know?

Display Maid is an app for keeping your displays tidy and managing your workspaces. If you use an Apple laptop with an external monitor you probably know how frustrating it is trying to keep apps and windows organized when you have to unplug your display. Everything gets jumbled up on your main screen and when you plug your display back in you have to manually move all of your windows back over to your external display. Display Maid will save and restore your window positions so you don't have to waste valuable time managing your window positions.

what the title suggests this has been an issue for as long as I have been on Manjaro KDE , I put the desktop icons where I want them and lock them in place, but when the computer starts up again I find all my desktop Icons are placed in the wrong position this has been going on for a good few I like to say years now, is this a Manjaro issue or a KDE issue, why does this happen and why hasnt this been fixed, its very frustrating to reorganize my icons.

The funny thing is when booting and I see the desktop I see them for a split second they are in the correct position, and then changes after, how is this not fixed Jesus! I hope the steam deck will force them to actually fix this issue.

Wavebox is a desktop app that consolidates all of your web apps into one place. That includes Google Keep, of course, but also Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and any other web app you use on a daily basis. It's like a one-stop shop for all your internet needs, and it's BETTER than using each app in your web browser because it:

Unlike using keep.google.com in the browser, Wavebox gives you a true desktop experience. That means you can create your notes, and todo lists, use keyboard shortcuts and even add a shortcut to your desktop to open Google Keep with a single click.

The easiest way to get Google Keep on your desktop is to use an powerful app like Wavebox. When you add Google Keep, it gets its own entry in the Wavebox sidebar. This entry has its own icon and own sandbox, meaning when you come to add a second Google Keep account it's completely separate. This makes switching backwards and forwards as simple as clicking on the icon in the sidebar. To get Google Keep on the desktop...

If like me, you find yourself using Google Keep all the time, then you can really supercharge your workflow, by creating a desktop shortcut and dock/taskbar entry for Google Keep. This makes Google Keep only a single click away no matter what you're doing on your PC or mac.

It can be tough to manage multiple Google Keep accounts. You might have Google accounts for work, personal and a project you're working on. Fortunately, there is a way to manage multiple Google Keep accounts on your desktop, and it's called Wavebox.

Wavebox is a desktop application that gives you the ability to manage all of your Google Keep accounts in one place. Wavebox supports multiple accounts, so you can easily switch between them it also supports other Google services, like Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs, so you can manage all of your Google accounts in one place.

I've installed Citrix Workspace App 2203 (2107 before) on my test clients. Since then my user gets the client drive file access permission window for every desktop. In recent versions there has been an option to set the permission on site level, but it's per desktop now. That's unusable in a site with many VDA desktops.

Click the desktop, choose View > Show View Options, then use the controls to make changes. You can also Control-click the desktop, then choose Show View Options. See Change how folders are displayed in the Finder.

Sounds like you're on a computer managed by some Group Policies that you can't change. A way around this is to have PAD open a program, interact with it briefly, and close it again every X minutes to keep it active
