My Friend Ganesha is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language film written and directed by Rajiv S Ruia and produced by Deepak Bhanushali, Manish Ruparel, Raman Trikha, Mitesh Mehta, and Ronak Bhagat. It stars Ahsaas Channa, Kiran Janjani, Shital Shah and Upasana Singh.[2]

Ashu, an 8-year-old boy feels lonely since his parents, Aditya and Aarti, don't have time for him and he doesn't have any friends. As the story moves on Lord 'Ganesha' becomes his friend and together they resolve so many problems around and have a lot of fun.

Aarti and Aditya are too involved in their daily lives and hence cannot give much time to the boy who always feels lonely. He would only get to be with the maid. On one rainy day, the boy saves a drowning mouse and saves his life. He brings the small mouse home and tells the maid about it. She is very happy and tells the boy that he has saved Lord Ganesha's pet ride. Gangubai explains to him the full episode of Lord Ganesha & Mushakraj and also that he is his friend. Ashu gets sad and tells Gangubai that he is also alone and needs a friend on which she tells him that Ganesha can be his friend. The boy gets excited at this thought. It was a period when the family was going through a crisis & was coinciding with the forthcoming Ganesha Festival. Gangubai somehow convinces everyone to bring Ganesha home for this festival. Ashu is very excited, Ganesha comes into their home and things start turning around in their family. Ganesha becomes Ashu's friend and together with him solves various problems in their family and has a lot of fun these 11 days.

Sukanya Verma of Rediff.com gave the film 1.5 out of 5, writing, "At the end of the day, films like My Friend Ganesha just end up making one's blood boil. They aren't cute. They are certainly not clever. But kids are. And they deserve better."[5] Anupama Chopra of India Today wrote, "This could have been a fun revenge-of-the-nerd story but director Rajiv S. Ruia makes a mess of it. The animation is tacky, the performances are laughably bad and the script is too juvenile to engage even a child. Indeed, My Friend Ganesha requires some celestial intervention itself."[6] Taran Adarsh of IndiaFM gave the film 2.5 out of 5, praising the performances and animation but criticising writing by calling it "half-baked" and the only "sore point" in the film.[4]

There is a very famous Bollywood movie 'My Friend Ganesha'. In that movie, a little kid named Ashu doesn't get enough time from his parents and one day Lord Ganesha became his friend. They resolve so many outer world problems and have a lot of fun altogether. Actually 'Lord Ganesha' is also my friend and his blessings are always with me. I can see so many problems in our real life and feel that Lord Ganesha is always with me in solving those problems. The mission of my life is to make my surrounding Super Happy in a more natural way. When it will be 70+ or 80+ or 90+ era of my life(I am optimistic person :-)) and probably that will be the time to say 'Good-Bye' to everyone then I really wish to be Super Happy for all the work that I did in my life!

There was a time in 90's when I came to Indore to start my professional life. I was walking on Indore roads and then somehow I reached to Khajrana Ganesh Temple. It was the wonderful time that I spent in the temple and I never forgot that day of my life. I must say you feel energetic, fresh, happy, peaceful, motivational, inspired when you are at Ganesh Temple!

Well, now it is time to start Question & Answer session. We will be covering few important questions in this write-up! Please tighten your seat belt because now we are going to discuss something interesting here:

A: Good question, I would say that I prefer to write notes in the Notebook because I can touch and feel it, I can make drawings easily, I can use multiple colors, I can work on multiple notes under the same notebook.

A: Simple and interesting question. Few questions for you! How do you feel when you see Rainbow, how do you feel when you see your favorite actress, lets say Deepika Padukone on TV or in theater - and off-course the time when she is really well-dressed up, how do you feel to see a fruit or Vegetable shop where you are seeing multiple colors at common place? So now I am sure you will be agreed from my saying that use of multiple colors and presenting things in a well-organized way can make you happy, the documents are easily readable/digestible by an end user. I would recommend that always make it practice to use 'Fair Notebook' and avoid using 'Rough Notebook'. Why doesn't we always think that the notes that we are preparing are worth Million or Billion dollar cost? If we do so then we can automatically start building better, cleaner and easily readable notes and make end user life happy.

A: There is no fixed timing for writing up the notes. Whenever a thought came in my mind I write few lines about that thought and then do the expansion when I have more time. I write thoughts when I wake up or when I am sitting on my Sofa or when I am watching a movie and that movie is kind of boring one. When I am at Indore then sometimes I wake up in the mid-night then that is also the time when I write notes/thoughts in my notebook. :-)

A: If I say that CEO of Uni-Ball company is my friend and he asked me to promote his company's pen then I am sure it can be a joke of the day. Isn't it? The reason is simple, It has a rubber grip and I feel that 'tic-tac' feature help me in my thought process. It has a wonderful tip that helps me to write the letters easily and gracefully, I feel that they are kind of bold in nature when written on paper. And off-course there is no worry of losing the CAP of the pen. When I take pictures of my notes then they are easily readable by an end user.

A: Yes, it does when you have more than 15 or 20 notebooks and you are using all the notebooks very frequently. At any point in time, you may be in need of at max 5 notebooks and rest of the additional books can be put on the shelf. I do the same and can easily find notes about anything.

-- Long time back I wrote the idea about creating a product that could help different business verticals. And now that product 'HotWax Commerce' is in existence. Here is the reference link -> Know about HotWax Commerce.

PS: Hey Anil, I am extremely sorry for writing the answer of all these questions. Today I thought to sit on both the sides of the table and portray the answer on your behalf. I am hopeful that after knowing you since last 20 years now I have earned enough credits and I feel it as my privilege to write all these. :-)

I would like to finish this post from a wonderful dialogue of our all time favorite movie 'Khuda Gawah' and wanted to dedicate it to Anil: "Itna mat sooch ... sooch gehri ho jaaye ... toh faisle kamzor ho jaate hai!!" :-)

Conclusion: Let's take a pause, now think of learning from this article and then combine few words -> Friend, Ganesha, Notebook+Pen, Success, Mantra. It is always a great step to believe in God and whatever work we are doing we can make it a practice to write down work-related ideas and thoughts in our notebook! I feel that I am a good human being and it is my moral responsibility to make my surroundings happy. The endless journey has already begun. I think that it will bring a lot of challenges but I am excited as well as confident that as a team we can make a difference. Please take a look at below picture of my team of amazing engineers. I am very proud of my team!

Telling little kids the story of Ganesha is a ritual for me. Without fail every year in school I narrate this story dramatizing it to the fullest. I really enjoy watching children concentrate and look in amazement, on how Ganeshji was beheaded by his father Lord Shiva. I end the story on a pleasant note of how Ganeshji travels on a little mouse. Also, stories of him being fond of modaks add sweetness to the classroom environment.

In 2013, I visited Lal Baug Cha Raja for the first time with my school friend Ms. Modi. The experience was one of a kind. The long queues with police bandobast and barricades did not stop us from getting the darshan. The line was so long it took us over 2 hours in spite of buying a pass. However, we managed to get close to The Lord for his divine blessings, only to be hushed away by the volunteers. Nonetheless, I was happy to have struck an item off my bucket list.

While celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi people generally ignore the environmental impact of pollution on air, water, noise, solid waste, etc caused by various activities performed during puja. Devotees immerse the idol chanting Ganapati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Lavkar Yaa. Along with Ganesh idols people dump other accessories like thermocol, plastics, etc. as well as adding to the level of water pollution. I only wish we realize what harm we are doing to our environment and wake up before its too late.

If you like expressing your devotion towards Ganesha, please post your comment at this blog post. I would be eager to make it a part of my worship. May Lord Ganesha bless us all. Hope you liked the story of Ganesh Chaturthi.
