A driver for what, exactly? I refurbish systems all the time, including older AMD systems, and Windows 10 does not require any chipset drivers for the older AMD chipsets. And there is no driver for the CPU itself - Windows 10 correctly supports older architecture AMD multi-core CPUs out of the box.
If your computer will work with Windows 10, then the drivers your computer will need will like already be in the driver repository files that come with Windows 10. You will not need to download additional drivers to support your CPU or Motherboard. Either Windows 10 will support it or not. If you meet the minimums specs for Windows 10 it should.

The basic problem is that this PC model came with Win7 preloaded and you forced Win10 onto it. HP only supplies Win7 drivers for this model and since it has Switchable Graphics, only HP drivers will work on it.
There are others on this forum that have access to drivers I do not have,so if one of them points you to drivers that will work for your model and Win10, you will be OK; otherwise, you would have to go back to Win7 to get the drivers working.
I've looked in Device Manager, and I can neither update those drivers nor roll them back to an earlier version. Updating my BIOS is problematic since the latest update 1) came in 2012, and 2) is a beta version; the final version was never released.
I have a multi-purpose server and I would like to have it run F H for the time being and I can't get it to detect the GPU so I'm trying to install the correct drivers. But I either go in Dependency hell or it installs gnome and everything with that
I'm trying to get temperature monitoring working my my build, and I've had no success. I've tried acpi, lm sensors, and coretemp and nothing appears to work. My motherboard is the ASRock M3A770DE, with an Athlon II 640 X4 processor. The thermal folder for ACPI is empty, coretemp won't load, and lm sensors works but doesn't display my processor temps. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hello forum,
as I did not find any related post, I just want to ask, if somebody else has the problems, that the current nvidia (closed source) drivers cannot be installed due to missing dependencies?
This had been bugging me for a long time until I realized Phenommsrtweaker could be used to automatically manipulate the P-states of Phenom processors if and when needed.
For most of us, power consumption may not be an issue. But what if you can automatically overclock your Phenom II CPU when needed without compromising on stability and power consumption?
Beta drivers won't destroy anything. They are just 'unstable' in that certain circumstances may cause them to crash. A reboot will fix it and give you time to install stable drivers if they're too much of an issue.
Only problem with beta drivers is that they aren't guaranteed to be totally compatible with everything and may end up causing conflicts with other drivers/apps or outright crashing (instability). They are safe for use however as long as you remember that your system may or may not be stable while using them...
Recommendation: Download DriverDoc [Download DriverDoc - Product by Solvusoft], a driver update tool that is recommended for Windows users who are inexperienced in manually updating AMD Processor drivers. DriverDoc saves time and headaches by making sure that you are downloading and installing the correct B95 drivers.
In addition, DriverDoc not only ensures your Processor drivers stay updated, but with a database of over 2,150,000 drivers (database updated daily), it keeps all of your other PC's drivers updated as well.
Phenom II X4 B95 errors may be linked to system drivers that are corrupt or obsolete. Device drivers can be functional one day, and then stop functioning the next day due to a number of causes. The good news is that Processor drivers can be updated to correct any problems.
It can seem impossible to find the right Phenom II X4 B95 driver directly on the AMD's or related manufacturer's website for your Processor. Despite having experience at locating, installing, and manually upgrading Phenom II X4 B95 drivers, the task will be time consuming and highly bothersome. Installing incorrect drivers may have an adverse impact on the functionality of your hardware or operating system.
It is generally advised to use a driver software as updates can be time consuming and complex. A driver update tool makes sure that the computer's operating system drivers are up to date and are correctly suited to the hardware in your system. Maintaining a driver backup provides you with the security of knowing that you can rollback any driver to a previous version (if necessary).
Falconfly.de is a great place for 3DFX drivers of all types (Originals for all cards on Win9x/2000, 3rd party drivers for WinXP and later), and I can vouch for them for the Diamond Monster 3D II 12mb, as I have one myself that works perfectly with the drivers from that page.
But I wonder, what will happen when kernels update? Do I have to do something about these drivers when that happens? Is there a way to configure it so that I can only update with pacman -Syu and forget about graphics drivers?
Well, it lead of course to some changes, now this bastards do exactly same as they did before with drivers, just with hardware chips / resistors (again, you still can mod them by just changing some small parts with your soldering skills), but otherwise they still essentially same videocards
Then I ran DDU-uninstaller, to get rid of amd drivers, then I went to google for guru3d site, where they had a especial legacy drivers (ATI Catalyst 12.11 B11 HotFix 11.09 V6 BETA) for a variety of 2100+ 1500 among other old drivers.
I run the setup, and this time it detected under the personalize installation the (AMD display drivers) It installed the display driver but appeared a Yellow mark with code 43, I ran dxdiag tool via windows 10 it shows on display (windows adapter with the error of not working properly) tested a game and 4-5 fps.
all the drivers top out at windows 7. so they should work out the box on windows 10 if you run the installer in win 7 compatability mode.
if they dont you have no option but to use win 7. as there are no win 10 specific drivers for that motherboard. and 2100 IGP does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12.
But then after installing the south/north required drivers using their setup.exe , this time I decided to install manually through device manager the display drivers provided by guru3d site ((ATI Catalyst 12.11 B11 HotFix 11.09 V6 BETA)) this time the display device under device manager showed ATI 2100 it installed without error code 43.
The HT-S7200 has one extra HDMI 1.3a input, at five, compared to the HT-S6200's four inputs. The HT-S7200 can upscale signals connected via components and composite inputs to 1080i. The HT-S7200 sports tower front speakers with dual 3.25-inch woofers and a 1-inch dome tweeter. A center channel has the same arrangement of drivers. The speakers are available as a stand-alone package known as the SKS-HT870
The HT-S6200 system has single 4-inch woofers and one 1-inch balanced dome tweeter on the three front speakers and 3.25-inch full range drivers in the surround speakers. The 10-inch subwoofer has a 230W power rating on either system.
The Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 are available now, priced at $899 and $699, respectively. The SKS-HT870 7.1-channel speaker package costs $499.
The new 4GB (2 x 2GB) Dominator GT memory kit has been precision engineered to operate at a frequency of 1600MHz with ultra low-latency timings of 6-6-6-18 and a Command Rate of 1T. These settings are a perfect match for the latest, high-performance Socket AM3 AMD Phenom II processors, which feature an advanced, low-latency, integrated DDR3 memory controller.
Testing in the Corsair Lab using an AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition processor and Asus Crosshair formula motherboard has shown average performance memory improvements of up to 20% when using the 1600MHz CAS 6 Dominator GT memory, when compared to standard 1333MHz DDR3 memory.
The 1600MHz CAS 6 Dominator GT kit for AM3 platforms with AMD Phenom II processors also utilizes the new DHX+ heatsink, which uniquely cools both the memory ICs and PCB, and includes removable cooling fins that allow for advanced cooling devices to be fitted. These include the recently announced Corsair Cooling
The Radeon HD 4860 seems to have been already taped out, sampled, and pictured by sections of the Chinese media. At the heart of it is the RV790 GPU in a different configuration codenamed RV790GT. It has 640 stream processors instead of 800 on the HD 4850, except that it uses a 256-bit GDDR5 memory interface, and effectively higher clock speeds.
The problem seems to be specific to the 5.16.x 64-bit client for Windows running on AMD processors.
I tried it on several different systems, both Intel and AMD processors. It installs correctly on Intel platforms, but consistently fails on AMD systems.
I was hoping that it had been resolved on the 5.16.5 release, but it apparently has not.
Hi lordofthemoon John_713 so the experience you are having with AMD processors is that when you first open the Zoom Client the client crashes? If uninstalling, re-installing the Zoom client doesn't do you justice with the most recent version of Zoom; I would recommend reporting a problem through the desktop client, and creating a ticket with our Zoom Support team if you have the web ticket creation support option available to you (scroll down to see Zoom Support Options)
