Dear colleagues,
I'd like to announce the publication of a Special Issue of the Studies
in Self-Access Learning (SiSAL) Journal, which is devoted to articles
emerging from the recent IATEFL one-day conference, Advising for
Language Learner Autonomy, held last November in Japan.
Featuring articles on learner metacognition, self-assessment and
evaluation of self-directed learning, advising discourse and language
policies, professional development for advisors, peer-advising, and
micro-counselling, we hope it will be of interest to those involved in
learning advising/counselling, self access and learner autonomy in
general.
Please find the issue here:

We are now accepting contributions for the June 2012 issue, for which
the deadline is April 30th. This is a general issue that welcomes
submissions on topics related to self-access learning. Please refer to
the SiSAL website for details of submission categories and guidelines
(

Best wishes
