Hello,I have set up the FMC for a flight from A to B but when enroute I need to divert to an alternate airport. How do I go about setting up the alternative ICAO in the FMC so as to make it part of the ARRIVALS page? I have read the PDF on FMC and it describes how to make flight plan changes e.g. entering a new NAV FIX but does not go into entering a new DEST?Any tips or links would be appreciated,Richard EhlersCore i940 MSI X58 Pro 6Gb Kingston 1600DDR3 Geforce 285 2Gb Windows 7
The trick is that you cannot modify the current segment you are flying.What I do is simply change the destination on the first page of RTE, while in HDG mode. Set up the new route and use a direct to fix to get the LNAV up to date with your plans.
Quick answer = EROPS 120/180 (Extended Range Operational Performance Standards)A while ago I bought a dispatch planner that helps immensely in this subject called Flight Operations Center (FOC). FOC will take your chosen enroute alternates and generate a Equal Time Point (ETP) in-between each alternate airfield. As you progress RTE 1, crosscheck your ETP's by placing them into the "FIX" page of the CDU. Put your alternates in RTE 2. As you cross the ETP, move the next appropriate alternate to the top of the Legs page of RTE 2. This way if you have to divert and want to remain in LNAV, all you'll need to do is activate RTE 2.Or, you can put your ETP's in RTE 1, and FIX the alternates. The trick is to create a route discontinuity in the Legs page in-between each ETP after a Go Around procedure. This will in turn display your ETP's on the ND, and the FMC won't give you any inaccurate information on ETA's. It'll look something like this;
The flagship EnRoute CAD/CAM software provides creative 2D and 3D design and output solutions to CNC woodworking, signmaking and millworking companies, as well as those within the nested-based manufacturing and fabrication industries. As with previous editions, EnRoute 6 is available in Basic, Plus, Pro and Fab Advanced versions to suit the specific requirements of users.
EnRoute 6 Plus now includes Rapid Texture and the powerful Auto-Toolpath Lite for quickly processing parts, while EnRoute 6 Pro delivers full Auto-Toolpath capabilities for other design applications, as well as fabrication production tools for plasma, laser and waterjet machines.

To reflect this the bundle version must also have a major change. However this now requires an unnecessary updates for bundle that only have an actual dependence on foo. Aggregating dependencies in this way increases the fan out of the transitive dependencies; rapidly resulting in brittle composite systems where all of the constituent parts must be simultaneously updated.
The bnd plugin will pickup this information and add it to the OSGi Bundle manifest. As a developer you should change the version information in package-info.java when you make changes to the package content.

To make us of US domestic enroute CPDLC, foreign operators must have FAA approval (J4 on their A003). L3Harris also need to have confirmed that your aircraft avionics configurations meet the compatibility requirements per the Recommended and Required Avionics Version List (RAV-E). If in doubt about any of this, contact them at DC...@L3Harris.com for any eligibility questions.
For eligible aircraft inbound to the US, there are some differences in logon guidance depending on whether a CPDLC connection is already established from the previous data authority, and whether the aircraft is entering via active or non-active US domestic enroute airspace.
Looks like the Recommended aircraft and avionics posted was for Commercial aircraft. There is a GA version on L3 site as info. Also thinking it would be a good idea to reference foreign operators needing to get on the CPDLC Enroute Trial list via L3 (which I believe is still on hold) in order to qualify to use enroute CPDLC in the US
Flight Information Publications and Flight Information Products (FLIP) are sensitive flight critical mapping and charting type items produced by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), foreign governments and commercial vendors that are distributed by Defense Distribution Mapping and varied civilian contractors.
A complete list of available FLIP and related products are contained in the Defense Logistics Agency Electronic Catalog of Maps, Charts, and Other Geospatial Products, Section 2 - Flight Information Publications (FLIP).
There are three standard types of Flight Information Publications (Planning, Enroute and Terminal) that cover eight geographic areas throughout the world. These items are produced in increments varying from 28 to 365 days. Sufficient quantities of each product type are produced and printed to adequately supply all active subscription accounts and depot shelf stock.
FLIP planning products include books intended primarily for use in pre-flight planning at base, squadron, and unit operations offices and low altitude, large scale wall charts showing radio aids to navigation, authorized airports, and other aeronautical data necessary for preliminary flight planning.
These publications are designed to provide enroute information portraying high and low altitude airway systems with related navigational data and airports required to support radio navigation. Products include Flight Information Handbooks, supplements, and low/high altitude sheets.
There are a number of FLIP-related products containing other important aeronautical information. Some examples include Foreign Clearance Guides, Sectional Aeronautical Charts, VFR Terminal Area Charts, U.S. Standard for Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPs), Airman's Information Manual, ICAO Documents and the Air Almanac.
FLIP products are assigned National Stock Numbers (NSN) and can be ordered by MILSTRIP / FEDSTRIP. However the urgent need and short interval between FLIP products makes constant ordering burdensome and timely receipt and use unlikely. Therefore, FLIP distribution is normally achieved through Automatic Distribution (AD) rather than through ordering. When establishing AD customers must identify the effective date their AD is to begin and must submit their request 60 days prior to that date.
FLIP products are published in 28-day cycles to coincide with internationally established effective dates. The National Geospatial- Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) provide initial Automatic Distribution (AD) of all FLIP cycles to customers via direct contractor delivery. Although the Richmond Map Facility (RMF) compiles and monitors the list of authorized FLIP customers, we are not responsible for FLIP AD to customers at the start of each cycle.
