Hello and welcome back to school!  With luck, your classrooms are settling into the annual routines, student names are starting to stick, and the lessons are rolling along.  And of course, as we quickly approach the Labor Day weekend, it's time to start getting things together for the scholastic chess season!

Attached, you'll find this year's September ICCA newsletter (also found on the ICCA website here).  This newsletter contains a bunch of helpful information as you start planning your first chess team activities.  Be sure to check out the updates for the ICCA and notes from IHSA's Dan Le.  

Our ICCA calendar is PACKED with events this year.  The newsletter has a brief summary of all the October tournaments.  Be sure to check them out while planning ahead.
