Coaches,

I've attached the ICCA Newsletter for January of 2025.  It's been great to get around the state to see as many coaches as possible this season.  Everyone is working really hard to bring the best of chess to as many players as possible.  What an honor!

One article of note is the IHSA seeding brief.  I've written up a brief explanation of how the IHSA State Final seeding committee functions, and we've included something that Coach Tom Doan has been working on for a couple years now.  Be sure to take a look.

Also, be sure to hit all those deadlines for the IHSA!  Sectionals is this Saturday, and we've got a lot of work to do to prepare.
