Coaches,
The 50th IHSA State Chess Team Tournament wrapped up a few weeks ago, and two weeks later the IESA ran its 14th State Chess Tournament. The USChess Illinois K-8 Championship is next weekend, and the rated Chess Nationals events happen shortly thereafter. It's been an emotional journey this year, and a period of great joy, growth, and occasional heartbreak. Thanks for being along for the ride.
The March Newsletter is a treat! We've got pieces from Betsy Zacate, Dan Le, and Scott Johnson, in addition to some notes about next season's initiatives. Take a look, and I'll see you at the next tournament!
Finally, if you know of any coach who is
not on the ICCA e-mail list and should be (new coaches, coaches with new e-mail addresses, etc.), please send them
this link and have them sign up!
See you soon, and if you need ANY support before the Fall, please let me know!
