ICCA Coaches,

Just a couple quick updates for the moment...
  1. I spent the day today processing a backlog of tournaments, including Conference tournaments played this weekend.  All results have been posted on the ICCA site here: https://www.ilchesscoach.org/Results
  2. I've also updated the ICCA Team Data Sheet here: https://goo.gl/42pYk7
And a couple quick asks of you,
  • Please check the results and Team Data Sheet for accuracy.  If you find errors, please email them to me at Secr...@ILChessCoach.org
  • I'm still entering Conference results into the ICCA Team Data Sheet.  If you need any support with a Conference website, please let me know.
  • Share the History of the ICCA with your teams.  Scroll to the bottom of the History page to find and watch the old "Chess State" documentary (from about 2014).  If you have trouble downloading it, let me know and I'll share a file with you.
And a friendly reminder... IHSA due dates are approaching.
  • January 21st (Wednesday) - Deadline to view online rules presentation - You, as a coach, must watch the rules presentation in the IHSA Schools Center. It is available NOW, so you can complete it any time between now and the deadline.
  • January 26th
    • 10:00am - Season Summaries DUE - You must have entered your team’s matches, results, and your comments to the IHSA system by 10am, it’s open all season long for you to adjust along the way
    • 11:00am - Sectional Seeding begins - Coaches must now “seed” the teams in their sectional
  • January 27th
    • 12:00pm - Sectional Seeding DUE - Your seeding must be complete by noon.
    • 4:00pm - Sectional seeding matrices will be posted
  • January 28th - 11:59pm - Strength Order lineups for SECTIONALS are DUE
  • January 31st - IHSA Sectional Tournaments

Good luck, congrats to everyone on a great season so far, and I can't wait to see you at an event soon!
