Fawn meets Canada Geese, Lake County

Late this afternoon at Pine Dunes FP, a doe and fawn came down to the pond and the fawn had to check out a pair of annoyed Canada Geese on shore while the doe fed on lily pads and a Great blue Heron preened on the Beaver lodge, can be seen here:

The wildflowers are stunning.  Thanks to the Lake County Forest Preserve District for creating another one of the greatest places on Earth.
