to IBET - Illinois Birders Exchanging Thoughts
Hello Bird People,
After Bob & I went to Goose Lake Prairie on Sunday I saw on Discord
that Owen W had a Baird's Sandpiper at Techny North so I stopped on
the way home & the Baird's Sandpiper was still present at noon. But
other shorebirds that Owen had seen were gone. Today I again went to
Techny North & although there were more shorebirds there was nothing
special when I was there.
Techny North (12:30-1 pm) (7-13-25)

Killdeer (6)
Spotted (4), Solitary (1) & Least (2) Sandpipers
BAIRD'S SANDPIPER (1-jUV)
Caspian Tern (6)
And 7 common landbird species.
