This morning at Sedge Meadow FP, while standing still and minding my own business filming my emotional support Beavers and Green Herons perched on their lodge, a River Otter came by and harassed me, seen here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAp1SEiQ1Gw
If this keeps up, I might have to get a restraining order.  Another video with the sound turned on so you can hear it cheep can be seen here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6vL9OGRlkc
Got eaten by mosquitoes filming these so somebody better like them, lol.

Great videos, Mark! I would suggest that you in your “human trail cam” role are well liked by all of them! The beavers, otters, herons and yes, the mosquitoes have all gotten used to your presence. I certainly enjoyed your videos and sympathize with your itchy skin and blood loss. All this rain has made Lake County a mosquito haven this year! 😵

Wow! What a piece of heaven you have there! That otter was definitely curious as to what you were doing, I never knew they made that chirping noise. Thanks for sharing this very cool experience!
