Hello Bird People,

Spent most of the morning doing yard work but I did check the 2
Techny's to see what the water levels were. Techny Basin previously
had mudflats along the stream but the backwater area was flooded.
Today even the stream had no mudflats as well as no shorebirds. Saw
Great Blues, Great Egrets, a Green Heron & a D.C. Cormorant. One
Caspian Tern flew by.

Techny North (10:50-11:50 am)

A little bit of mudflats has returned but not a lot. And it's only in
the north section.

Great Blue Heron (2) & Great Egret (2)
Canada Goose (47, but all flew away)
Mallard (4-AD & 1-F with 7 ducklings)
Killdeer (31)
Solitary (4), Spotted (3) & Least (2) Sandpipers
And a few common land birds

Only 22 species today with no roadside additions.
Bird-Of-The-Day will be the Green Heron & Runner-Up will be the lone
Caspian Tern.
