To further welcome you into spring I will let you know that today my cardinal was really singing a lot and very happy to do so! The mourning Dove started singing today, the cardinal started yesterday that I know of. I also had a flock of five robins come in at the end of the day today. But I fear we will have the same kind of year we had the last 2 years where it gets extra warm early and then it stays extra cold late which sucks. I also had a male flicker come by which was cool; last year they were here calling a lot but then got chased away by either the red bellied woodpeckers or the starlings I’m not sure which, so it’d be really cool if they did nest nearby. I still have an immature, well now she’s mature I guess, female red bellied woodpecker, the Downies come around once in a while. I usually get hairies twice a year.
