to IBET - Illinois Birders Exchanging Thoughts
Hello Bird People,
Seems like every day I list the birds that were present but not seen
by me. Today is no exception with Black Throated Blue, Golden Winged,
Orange Crowned & Connecticut Warblers all being seen but missed by me.
If it was a rare Warbler I failed to see it! I hope this stops!

Killdeer (3) & Semipalmated Sandpiper (1, did not arrive until 10 a.m.)

Pigeon (6) & Mourning Dove (4)

Ebird says I had 40 species for the day.
Bird-Of-The-Day will be the continuing Black Bellied Plover &
Runner-Up to the Ovenbird
which was not acting like an Ovenbird but was walking around on a
gravel path with 4 species
of Sparrows. Very interesting!
