IWe will miss Jeff Sanders

We were sad to hear of Jeff's passing away.

 

I will always remember that he loved to tell jokes and spend a lot of time reminiscing with other birders about previous birds he saw and previous good birding trips he was on.  I think he loved talking to other birders as much as he loved birdwatching.  

 

I had saved an email he sent me several years ago when I mentioned to him his tidy bowl joke, and he said, "I tell the tidy bowl joke at least twice a year."

 

We will miss him,
