to IBET - Illinois Birders Exchanging Thoughts
Hello Bird People,
All my birding today was of the feeder watch variety at the Little Red
Schoolhouse & Sagawau Center. I saw all the main birds except for
Purple Finch which I missed this time although I saw them here last
time.

Hairy Woodpecker (1)
PILEATED WOODPECKER (1-F) (Not far from the front feeders)
Blue Jay (14)

White Breasted Nuthatch (2-3)
TUFTED TITMOUSE (2)
CAROLINA WREN (1, well seen while singing)
Robins (12-15)
Starlings (10)
Tree Sparrow (4)
Junco (12)
Red Wings (3-M)
Cowbird (1-M & 1-F)
Goldfinch (6)
House Sparrow (~25)
Sagawau Center (10:15-11 am)
Mourning Dove (8)
Red Bellied (1) & Downy (1) Woodpeckers
Blue Jay (4)

W.B. Nuthatch (2)

So 19 species at the feeder places plus 2 more roadside additions to
total 21 for the day.
Bird-Of-The-Day will be the Pileated Woodpecker & Runner-Up to the
Carolina Wren.
