I don’t think I mentioned this the other day, two days ago I think it was, I had 18 or 19 crows here! Which was pretty awesome. Today I had eight. They seem to come at least once a year between January and March when it’s still winter or the end of winter and group up.
I also had a visiting Goldfinch for the first time in a while today. A group of Juncos were excited to come by but the house sparrows have realized they can eat the native plant seeds too and then there aren’t that many left for our visitors in the winter.
