I joined Brad S and Taylor B this morning in a visit to the state endangered Common Tern colony at Great Lakes. Although there has been some losses for the most part, the colony is doing well. Here are our observations and I combine these numbers to include the birds on the platforms as well as those on the island.

36 adults, 9 active nests, 27 chicks and 19 eggs yet to hatch.
