to IBET - Illinois Birders Exchanging Thoughts
Hello Bird People,
Went with Luis M today to check on the mudflats at Wood Dale
Reservoir. And they seem to be in good shape & larger than they have
been before. But only common shorebirds were present so the bird
quality level was low. Maybe next time.

I had 17 species of common landbirds with the most interesting being

So 36 species for the day at Wood Dale plus 2 roadside additions for a
day's total of 38.
Bird-Of-The-Day to the nearby Osprey family (1-AD & 2 young) by the
school on Wood Dale Road. Runners-Up to the 2 Green Herons & all those
Caspian Terns including young ones.
